Remote Desktop/Streaming app for iPad or Android, including a version optimized for the Tegra 3. http://www.splashtop.com/ I installed the free version on my Transformer Prime, and the connection is good enough to run crew skill missions in SW:TOR. I have a mouse and keyboard on my Prime, which really helps, but touch the Interface seems really well done (adapting a touch screen tablet to a Windows desktop). There is some mouse lag of course, and I'm still tweaking the mouseclick settings (no right-click in android i don't think). Overall, pretty cool! |

Which free version did you pick up Midgen? I am interested in your SWTOR comment. |

I mispoke about the client being free. I have the THD (Tegra optimized) client installed on my Asus Transformer Prime, which I believe was $9.99. I also have the smartphone version installed on my Nexus S (whichever one I found on the market via Google Play). I don't recall the price on it, but I think it was $4.99. The streamer, which I have installed on two different PC's is free. Re: SW:TOR, there is one glaring issue with the interface that makes doing anything that involves moving around in the world a challenge, and that is the lack of a right-click functionality in Android (or at least in their client). I am able to sit on my ship, or at fleet and send my crew out on missions, and I can participate in chat conversations, but moving around at all is difficult. |
