That's kinda hard to say :p I gotta say thats an interesting naming choice.. My brain wants that to say 'Kindle Paper Weight', which, well.. isn't a good thing...

As a side note, Howie Mandel's looking terrible lately.

I'm intrigued by the Paperwhite. Move and new job though are stymying my techie purchases right now, though.

I don't need another tablet, and would prefer to just pick up an iPad Mini upon its inevitable release, but I am curious to see if this new Fire fixes the myriad problems of the old.

As long as Amazon has scrapped their absolutely dreadful version of Android... that's a huge step right there.

Who says they did? Looks the same to me.

The Kindle still uses their version of Android....

It's actually probably the best version of Gingerbread that anyone has made.

I should say the Kindle *Fire* still uses their proprietary version of Android.

I'm not interested in the Fire at all.

The Paper Weight intrigues me though, as a dedicated reader. The one annoyance I have with the Nook is needing an external light for nighttime reading.

Sweet. I love e-ink readers when it comes to reading books. The thought of reading a book on an LCD screen makes my body want to do things best not mentioned if everyone wants to keep their lunches down.

I really liked the covers with the built in LED lights that were powered by the Kindle's own battery, but they were generally expensive (50 bucks or more). Having a built in light already makes this a far easier sell for me.

Ugh the version they put on the Fire is absolute trash.

I still have my e-ink kindle keyboard with this very cover.

Its one device that I don't think I'll ever get rid of.

I loved the graphite-and-tan aesthetic of the Kindle Keyboard. Was a little bummed they went with the silver-y aesthetic for the fourth-gen stuff. I like the return to darker, and the black looks sharp, but I still <3 the graphite more.

Oh i still use it today too with my kindle 3. My wife has the kindle touch with its version of kindle powered led as well.

I would like an updated touch almost purely for the quick dictionary feature. I use it frequently, as i can't stand to just "assume" i know what a word means and just blast past it. And some authors force me to use it more than others (I'm looking at you, Piers Anthony).

The touch makes it far easier to just tap a word than moving the cursor all over the place. And better contrast and self illuminated? Bonuses all around.
