Better to live down to your expectations, with the chance of perhaps exceeding them, than not living up to them at all? Yes, I'm looking at you, Green Bay.

I actually think Buffalo is only a few offensive linemen and a new defensive co-ordinator away from being a respectable 9-7 next year.

Dude, the Lions are RIGHT there. Some of those young guys get some snaps under them and they will be good in a year or two. They've made some good moves the past couple of years.

The Lions have been there for a while. If you look at their scores for the last couple years it becomes obvious they just can't string together 4 solid quarters of football. I always enjoyed the games that were broadcast here because they looked like they could bust through any game.

Eh, this just looks to be your typical power-transition season at the beginning of a decade.

I am sticking with Steelers/Ravens. The organizations are too stable and good at identifying talent.

The West will continue to be a clusterF for the next 5 years at least. I can see the Bucs finally making the leap to solid-mediocrity though.

Atlanta and Philadelphia both have strong organizational frameworks going into this decade. Both are playing strong football, and I certainly see both performing really well this year. However, there are small signs and overlooked indicators coming out of the Dolphins. We can already see the impact of Parcells as General Manager, and let's be honest: I don't think there's anyone in the game today better at identifying cohesive talent than Tuna.

Ozzie Newsome would get my vote on that.

Doesn't really matter that he quit, because the dividends of his time in that position are paying off now and will continue to do so well into the future for the Dolphins.

I hate Thomas Jones. Why do you ask? Because next week when I start him, he's going to get me 2 points.

Not saying he will hit 26, but Eli usually plays very well against the Cowboys. I wouldn't throw in the towel just yet.

I need 21 points from Ahmad Bradshaw and Brandon Jacobs.

Not out of the realm of possibility against how shitty the Cowboys are ;)

No higher than Visanthe Shiancoe:

Quote:
"We've got a lot of time here," Vikings tight end Visanthe Shiancoe said. "We can go 12 and 4. It's far from over. We've got a lot of time left. A little urgency is probably going to be there, but there's no sense of panic."

Somehow, I don't see the Vikings going 10-0 for the rest of the year.
