If it weren't for Kreider running Carey Price skates-first, you would be playing Montreal.

I think Montreal would have had home-ice advantage, too.

They would. Both LA and Montreal had 100 points, but Montreal had a better ROW. Also, I think you are being a little hard on your rookie goalie. In my opinion, Montreal did not lose to New York because of goal tending. I think the new guy did just as well as Price would have.

Tokarski played decently. It was a hell of a "baptism by fire." One game he even played great. Price would only have won them one game that Tokarski lost, if he played like he usually did. That meant they would have gone to game 7.

Note that going back to the Olympics, Carey Price played 5 elimination games this year. He allowed only 2 goals in those 5 games. He was unbeatable when it counted. If they'd gone to game 7 against the NYR with Price in net, they'd have won.

Rangers kept it alive! Here is hoping they keep it alive and take it to 7 games. Go Rangers!

2 times in 3 years. The Kings are the Kings indeed. Lundqvist was the only reason New York got to where they were at.

And I could not think of a better Conn Smythe winner this year. Williams was so clutch it wasn't even funny. Though I would have been happy with Kopitar, Doughty or Carter. All had strong cases for the MVP. I feel really good going into next season. This team really has what it takes to win in several more times over the next few years.
