I decided this week that Phillip Rivers actually likes throwing interceptions. Without them, San Diego would never be that "fourth quarter" team.

Sorry Lenas. It's because he no longer has Fairy Power backing him. Last year he was my QB. So the fairy dust reflected in his stats.

Actually, Lenas, it's a fairly rare disease call Romoitis, which is usually contracted in southern New York after getting dirty-Sanchez'd and it is, unfortunatly, know to cause (playoff) death.

I am going with Antonio Gates being down and out.

Wow. Should have stopped letting it ride and played Cam.

But the Lions? Hell yeah! My other league's team is super happy (who are mirroring Detroit's success.... 4 and 0 still). My only regret there is keeping Beanie Wells benched because I was pretty sure he was either not going to play, or not going to play much. Lesson learned.

I am looking to aquire two half backs, and am willing to part with Matt Forte to do it.

I'm not sure why, but the 49ers being 3-1 makes me happily amazed.

Well, actually I suspected that they would be repeating the usual role of practice squad for the other teams, its good to see them doing well, although it is still pretty early in the season.

So how 'bout that Aaron Rodgers guy? I think he could really make something of himself.

(Threw 4 TDs, and ran two in himself, lolbroncosdefense)

Oh my God... the Browns are worse than even I expected... Management needs to get their **** together and game plan for the team they HAVE not the team they WISH they had.

I can't believe the Seahawks almost pulled off a win yesterday. Were it not for Sidney Rice's badly timed False Start... We coulda gotten it.

Maybe.

Yea, or Red Bryant's off sides, or the Head Coach trying a 61 yard field into the wind when there was plenty of time on the clock (and a time-out) where they could have tried to go for it on 4th and 8 and then had a more makeable kick.

But it's exactly these kinds of things that are the difference between good football teams and bad ones.

SO glad I have little emotion invested in the Eagles anymore. Maybe it's because I have had enough of Andy Reid and didn't expect any of the off-season moves to accomplish anything. Or maybe because I have become less interested in football in general.

The Eagles are playing so pathetically bad right now. I was practically expecting that they would blow it yesterday.

Come on secondary, learn how to tackle. Seriously.

Nnamdi Asomughah? I though he was supposed to be some sort of phenom back there in coverage. I haven't seen him do anything but get burnt and miss tackles.

Totally different coverage scheme. His natural ability is there, but he's never been asked to play this type of coverage in his career. He will improve to his former levels, but it will take some time to adjust.

I'd like to enter the Eagles into the "Suck for Luck" sweep stakes. **** Vick, **** our Defense, **** Andy Reid.

Today was infuriating as an Eagles fan.

Vick didn't play badly did he? I only saw the highlights, but from what I could tell, I don't think he deserves much of blame...

You missed the 4 INT's he threw during the highlights. Including a pick 6.

Well, yea, to be honest I wasn't playing close attention to the details. :p

Were they bad throws? Or are his receivers not catching the ball?

One was a tip. There was plenty of fail to go around in that game for the Eagles. But throwing 3 interceptions on the Eagles first 4 possessions set the tone for a very long afternoon. Add to it a lost fumble and you knew the writing was on the wall.

The fact that they were attempting to drive down in the final minutes of the game to take the lead is baffling as to how they were able to keep the game that close. They were on the move when Vick threw his final INT late in the 4th. The defense ended up doing a pretty great stand to force the Bills into a 4th down situation. The bills lined up to try and draw the defense off sides, oldest trick in the book right? Well the Eagles jumped, got them the first down with 1:40-ish left on the clock and that was that.

I miss Jim Johnson. :(

Jason Avant needs to be shown how to hold on to a football.

Am I the only one that finds it interesting that Desean Jackson (Whose contract was not rewritten) seems to be playing the best amidst the rest of the fail that is currently the Eagles?
