Have you seen the woman he is alleged to have had an affair with?

With that said, I wonder how many of these women are bandwagonning to sell their stories to the rags.

He regrets the transgressions because they got him beat with a golf club.

He deeply regrets the lack of a pre-nup?

I've been hesitating to post about the absolute schadenfreude I'm experiencing over this, but, since you brought it up ... Guess I'm glad to hear that his life's not so **** perfect, that's all.

Which barmaid picture are you referring to, Hop? I saw one, but then heard that that person has denied it, and another one has come forward with a voicemail that he left her, asking her to take her name off of her phone, because his wife was poking around.

From what she says, it started about two months before the birth of his first child. Now, that's classy.

Ah, just looked at the article. Didn't realize others are coming forward now, too. The guy is like Sam Malone.

A Pre-Nup wouldn't really matter. He's the one at fault. :)

Also, in a 6(?) year marriage with 2 kids... yeah.

That said, Leave the man alone. Its none of our business what or who he did.

This guy cracks me up. While I don't agree with his views on monogamy, I love his commentary because he makes some good points and it makes me laugh: http://msn.foxsports.com/golf/story/10464562/Tiger's-real-crime?-Not-playing-the-media's-game

They finally posted a picture of Tiger and his wife right after the "accident." It looks like it was a little more serious than everyone expected.

So why would a man, who has everything, cheat? Because the only challenge he can find is which woman will do him?

I'm sure there are plenty of reasons why he might have cheated. Perhaps he wasn't satisfied. Perhaps he was lonely on the road. Perhaps his wife hadn't slept with him in a long time. Perhaps he did it simply because he thought he could get away with it.

Those aren't really reasons. Those are excuses.

Charisma can be like a drug to the person who has it. How far can I go, what can I get away with before I go too far, and can I talk myself out of trouble?

I'm not sure that is what is happening here, but I suspect it is.

The reason is due to genetic imperative.

One account I saw early on said that he started with one of the women when his wife was seven months pregnant with the first kid. I mentioned this to my wife, saying, maybe she wasn't giving him any ... and she suggested that perhaps it was just the opposite: His wife turned into a raging hormone, and he was just trying to take it down a notch with another woman.

I think it's more of a power-thing, really. He's obviously an A-type personality, and those kind tend to want to spread their seed and always acquire more. Women, boats, houses, money, major titles, doesn't matter.

So it's the instinct to pass along his genes to as many women as he can? If you have that instinct..then why get married? Stay single and pass on your genes till your can't move.

Yes.

The territorial instinct is fairly strong. Conscious voluntary action gets in there, too.

Next Tiger will be saying that it's not his fault, that he is a sex addict and couldn't kick the habit like he thought he could when he married Elin.

Huh. I was going to see if there's any correlation between his courtship and marriage of his wife, his Major "slump" and revival, and his affairs.

So, he gets married in 2003 ... and 2003 and 2004 are his worst years in terms of money and majors (at least until 2008 and his surgery). So, maybe he was not cheating in this period, and starts picking up his "game" again in 2005. He starts his affair with Grubbs, if any of this can be believed, in April 2007 ... his best year, in terms of money.

Crap, human behavior and performance fascinates me.

Then, too, there was always the joke that Jesper Parnevik made, that he introduced the two of them in an attempt to get Tiger's mind off of his game and give the other guys a chance. Maybe it worked, for a little while.

And apparently he's just released a statement that he's taking an indefinite leave of absence from Golf.

Well, there goes the rest of his endorsements.

In all fairness, if he is intent on trying to save his marriage, this is probably the best thing he could do. The temptations will always be there. There will always be tour sluts who don't give a damn about anyone's marriage. They just want to say they bedded Tiger - or whoever - in any sport out there.

I'll bet this has less to do with "saving his marriage" and more to do with "Get the **** out of my life you vulture paparazzi cocksuckers."

Yeah, someone in the LA Times today pointed out that it's probably the best thing he could do. Just too bad that most other guys who need to take some time off to get their heads straight can't afford to do that, as he can.
