My Braves are 3-0, which suggests a terrible season to come. Who else is watching?

I'm watching, as always. I'll be at Boston's home opener this Monday.

The Giants are 3-2, and the pitchers are doing a great job, Timmy did 7 innings of shut out pitching. Unfortunately, so did the Padres pitcher, Tim was relieved and we went down 1-0

Its baseball, tomorrow is another game.

Tigers off to a 5-0 start. I am trying really hard not to taunt Hopwin on FB.

Another blown season for the Mariners.

Blue Jays are off to a decent start. However, recent history suggests I shouldn't pay attention until august. If we're contending then, I can maybe be optimistic.

Dodgers are well on their way to the 87-win season I'm predicting. Luckily, I don't think anyone else in the division will win more than 86 (Padres). so they'll still make the playoffs. But this is going to be a bumpy season, I fear.

A little more offense would be nice. I hate to see the media here lambasting Dickey for walking in two runs, when we only lost 2-1.

Sheesh, two walk-off wins in a row for the Dodgers over the M's, by the same score, no less. They were lucky to do that as often last season as they have already this season. Pretty cool.

The Sox absolutely stink today. When you score 7 runs you don't expect to lose by 11.

Holy ****, man. Since when does a .500 ball club go all in for a playoff run at the trade deadline?

When the prez is retiring after this year, and the GM's head is on the chopping block :P

So, if the Jays make it to the ALCS, does that save Alex Anthopolos' job? :)

Maybe. I think AA's contract runs out this season, so he'd have to be signed to a new one.

They have decided to go for it this season, understandably. Next season has a lot of question marks. Several guys with buyouts or hitting the FA. They should have a lot of money to spend, but will have to fill a ton of holes it looks like. This year may be the last for this current core of guys.

I was so filled with hope at the start of the year. The Tigers were playing well. Then...things fell apart. Taly, there is talk around here that the GM we just fired is going there. He is damn good, even if he ignores the GD Bullpen...

Let's hope it continues. This is awesome. I actually watched my first entire baseball game in 22 years last night.

I keep waiting for the clock to strike midnight and for the team to turn into pumpkins.

I think they will definitely get a spot in the post season. Either division or WC.

If WC, they will face likely one of 3 teams. Rangers/Angels/Twins. I think they can beat all 3 unless they go cold on offense.
I think they have better offense and pitching that those 3 teams overall.

Where they may fail is the ALDS. They'll face one of Astros/Royals. Both will be tough to overcome. The Astros most likely the easiest, since they rely heavily on HRs.

I could see the Jays getting as far as the ALCS this year. I am not sure I see anyone beating the Royals.

In the NL, StL is my pick.

They recently took two out of three with the royals, too. Based on their runs scored vs allowed, they are underperforming this year by about 10 games. Which isn't too say there aren't reasons for that underperformance, but I do think once they are in the playoffs, anything can happen. The wildcard spot is the scariest... That one game playoff means a single bad day and you're out.

Yeah, your boys are drastically under-cutting their Pythag; though to be honest it likely means a major late run, as they almost always even out.

Being swept by the Dodgers has shaken my morale. I don't think the Giants will make it to the series this year. Might now I'm suspecting they won't even make the playoffs.
