I wasn't a hockey fan when he was playing...I was a kid riding my bike, playing Kill the Man with my brothers and the neighbor kids, and watching football and baseball with my Dad. (yeah I was a tomboy...still am :P)

I wish I had seen him play. From everything I've read about him, he was a sight to see on the ice, and was quite the gentleman off the ice.

RIP Mr. Howe
