165 gr. JHP S&W .40 rounds. Deliver just shy of 500 ft-lb energy muzzle velocity. I bet that'd make my head into a pretty picture. Or one that'd be unsolvable. Wow, the riddles that energy can provide. Such an unsolvable puzzle, but yet a rewarding one to solve. I really estimate a clean hole with little mess at all. |

Actually, this was somewhat cryptic, and I hit the wrong forum to post it. I had a near accident thanks some idiot who doesn't listen when I instruct him in the basic rules of firearm safety. I was pretty mentally disturbed. Actually, an hour after it happened when it finally set in. Usually, things like that don't bother me, because I know everyone can die at any time. But I've always looked at morbid things completely calculating and without emotion. This is the first time I've ever felt mortal. I never thought of actually dying and what would happen. I've just never cared. So I will not be taking newbies to the firing range or lending them any of my weapons ever again. |
