Just read that Gary Carter has inoperable brain cancer. For some reason, this one hit me hard. I guess I just remember him playing with such enthusiasm, and helping the Mets win a World Series, it's hard to imagine him having only a short time to live, maybe a couple of years. Sheesh, and he's not that old (57). Go home and hug your kids and loved ones, 'K? |
