The Kings are on fire. I am really excited.

You should be. They have a good team this year. I have been impressed.

No offense to the many Philly fans here, but I'm cheering for the Kings.

Of the teams that are left:

Philadelphia Flyers = I have never liked the broadstreet bullies.

NY Rangers = This wouldn't bother me that much, but they have won in the last couple decades. Prior to the salary cap they were attempting (unsuccessfully) to be the NY Yankees and spend their way to competitiveness. This made me dislike them.

NJ Devils = Enough of you guys already. Go golfing.

Washington Capitals = I hate Ovechkin. Plus it's D.C. You guys stole the Expos.

Phoenix Coyotes = Nobody in their home town even gives a **** about them. Why should I?

Los Angeles Kings:
Good hockey fans in LA? Check.
The most storied history in pro sports NEVER to have won a championship? Check.
They're a Los Angeles team not named "The Ducks"? Check.
They're the underdog 8th seed nobody expected? Check.

Yeah. I'll cheer for the Kings.

Oh man. Kings up 1-0. Let's hope they can keep it up!

I have to say the ending of the game yesterday was pretty awesome. And I don't even like hockey. Than again I also watched the Heat/Celtics so who knows wtf my head was yesterday.

I would love to see The Kings win.

I wouldn't...just because it's LA and I cannot make myself root for an LA team. Then again, I have no horse in this race, I just like watching hockey! :D

2-0. Pretty good games, both into OT. Loving it.

Really sucks that I had to come to work tonight. What I saw of the game was good.

The Kings absolutely crushed the Devils tonight. A single game remains between the Kings and the Stanley Cup. I couldn't be more excited.

Game four is always the hardest to win.

Still have 3 more games. I am sad they didn't sweep, but this just gives them a chance to extend their record of on the road wins even higher.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised. I mean, they are my team after all.

I know. But it's pretty demoralizing to be up 3-0 and then 3-1 and now 3-2.

All the games have been pretty close. Those OT games could have gone either way. You are facing one of the best goal tenders to ever stand in front of a net. Just have to keep attacking. I like the Kings chances still.

I shouldn't have doubted them. 6-1. I've been waiting 28 years for this. And Quick got the well deserved MVP.

Hah, my former neighbor, a Canadian, stopped while driving by, and asked if the Kings had made me enough of a fan to watch the game. I said "Nah!" - but I do think I will take my kids to see the Cup somewhere in LA. That sounds like a gas.

Congrats to them, nice run.

Congrats, Kings!

I loved seeing the kings win, but that last one was not an awesome game. That was an early crushing caused by a stupid penalty. (no, not a stupid penalty call, a stupid penalty to take. If I were a Devil's fan, i'd be furious with Bernier for that idiotic hit from behind into the boards. And his whole team paid for it... Not that I'm going to cry over the Devils losing.)

I say "awesome game" in the sense that I never, ever watch hockey but this series kept me interested. Three goals in a single power play got even me cheering and the excitement lasted through the rest of the game.

Grats to LA. It pains me to say it since I hate LA but I like a west coast cup, again. **** east coast bias.
