I am hoping the pitching they have been doing holds up for a few more games. |

I don't want to see the Cards again after 2006. I would much rather play the Giants. |

Looking pretty good now. Though I still am hoping St. Louis takes the NLCS just so the Tigers can crush them in the World Series and I can watch all those Cards fans cry. It'll be 2006, nightmare edition. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I777 using Tapatalk 2 |

And all of a sudden it is a tied series and the Giants are looking great again. Down to the seventh and last game for the honor of meeting the Tigers in the World Series. |

Maybe we will do better on home turf . Freeze them giants out, since they are only used to beautiful weather. Goooooo Tigers! |

lol, i take it you've never actually been to San Francisco? Yes, it's generally colder and can be snowier than the Bay area, but the Giant's stadium is near the water, in an area known for chilly, blustery weather. Most people hate the idea of playing baseball there. |

Yeah, that's a very funny comment, Kirra. Down here in Southern California, we laugh at the northerners with their chilly, shitty weather. I've often wondered if that's a large part of why they (and everyone else) hates Los Angeles. It's always so ****' perfect here. But, if you're from not-here, then it's all just California, and pretty and sunny. But that's really not the case up there. Edit: And, yeah, when I was watching the first two games, with them all wrapped up in hoodies and stuff, I was sitting down here in 70+ degree weather. |

I had one of these a long time ago, never could figure out what happened to it. I think someone stole it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Candlestick_Park |

It would be so deliciously ironic for the tigers to win 4 in a row. |

It's happened before to the Giants. It could very well happen again. |

I think I read in the paper today that a team down 3-0 has never come back to win the Series. In fact, of the 24 teams staked to a 3-0 lead, all but three have gone on to complete the sweep. That being said, I won't be surprised if Detroit wins today, then loses tomorrow. But, I kind of expect this to be over today. /sigh |
