What a hideous thing. How can they let them play with a field that color? Apart from how horrible it looks on TV, it gives them an unfair advantage because their uniforms blend into it. Plus, it's just hideous. Hrmph.

In that case, Oregon has a pretty good advantage everywhere they go.

I dunno, Oregon doesn't seem to blend in the way that blue does. Maybe it's just TV. Plus, they often wear yellow or white on the road, right?

In any case, it's a hideous color.

I don't think the blue uniforms on the blue field is an advantage. If there is anything to the 'blending in thing', I would think it would be just as difficult for thier quarterback to find his recievers as it is for the other teams to see their DBs. I can't imagine it really makes any difference though.

I think there's a difference, though I don't know if it's an advantage either way. The slight advantage goes to Boise State simply because they're accustomed to it, since it's their own field. It's certainly harder to track down players who look like chameleons as opposed to Michigan Wolverines with their winged helmets. It has to be a factor. Everything is a factor. It's not a determining factor, but it still exists.
