Um, Mr. Plow Guy? My yard and sidewalk are not part of the road. Just sayin'. And those nice piles along the sides of the road from the last 2 storms? They marked where the road ended and not-road began.

Please, please, please let my retaining wall* be ok when I get the plow blade-shaped mound of snow out of the way! I can't actually get to my sidewalk to shovel it out now without going over the yard. The plow basically took an intersection's worth of snow and placed it carefully on the sidewalks where they meet my driveway, but somehow didn't fill in the driveway itself. At this point, I can't physically remove that much snow. (One-day recovery my ***!!)

* It goes down the driveway and stops at the sidewalk.

Yeah, it's hard-packed ice and snow. I can't deal with that - the sinuses are screaming at me enough as it is from the light snow I moved.

Asked my man to help me tomorrow. I hope he does. I don't like asking for help, but in this case...

I told you to brick him up in the wall.

*giggle*

I sent a photo to the Township with a nice, albeit snarky, email. And hinted that it would be really nice if they removed said pile of ice since I'm still recovering from surgery. I'm not holding my breath.

Of course, I forgot that I'm babysitting today so my Don can go fight in King's and Queen's Rapier Championships here in the East. So I can't shovel today with my man if I wanted to.
