I long ago decided that anything covered by Hendrix is the definitive edition.

Congrats on the job, good luck with the phones.

"Me and Bobby McGee" was written by Kris Kristofferson and Fred Foster in '69 or '70, and first released by the artist (Roger Miller) in Mr. Ground's link.

Probably, they do have 3% unemployment up there, that I've seen reported.
I've seen reported.

I met as far as requiring a "not a homicidal maniac" test to be a roughneck.

I'm seeing rents for about 1/2 that. Why Dickinson? I Thought Watson City or Williston were the places to be.

No idea. Just quoting a friend of mine who happens to live there. He says the housing market there is just crazy.

Hey, another neat thing about my job: I get paid a higher hourly wage for simply working on Saturday and Sunday. I didn't know anyone actually did that. I've never heard of it. Ever. I have a strong feeling the call center I work at has a really bad attendance problem on the weekends.

Lets add 'I Shot the Sheriff' to the list of songs best known by their cover. I actually grew up with the original and was terribly confused when I first heard the Clapton cover.

Not always. My company pays shift differential but not weekend. To compensate, the shift differential is a good bit more than the competition, which does do weekend differential.

Ok. then we add "Black Magic Woman"; Santana covered a Fleetwood Mac song. :)

Angel in the Morning - Merilee Rush and the Turnabouts version as a cover, and the defining version. Juice Newton tried, but she didn't make it.
