I learned this one recently, there is such a thing as physical bio-chemistry between two people. It's not just the fuzzy notion of "emotional chemistry", or "spark" that people usually imply when they use the word.

I had one girlfriend who said that holding hands made the skin on the top of her hand hurt. Sure enough, when holding hands the natural sweat from my hand, coupled with the unconscious caressing of the back of her hand with my thumb, along with her natural sweat, would cause irritation. It did not matter if I had just washed my hands, the effect was the same. In addition kissing her was just "ok".

In contrast, my most recent ex was in heaven when we held hands, said it physically felt like her skin always wanted to be there. When we kissed, I kid you not, it tasted sweet to both of us. If any of you are Farscape fans, it was just like the reaction in the A Kiss Is But a Kiss episode.

In both cases it was the same regardless of emotional, gastrointestinal, or other state. Now I just need to meet a woman who can combine the best parts about both women.

Getting women to sleep with you is the easy part, I lost count a long time ago on the number of women I had been with before I got married. The hard part is finding someone you want to stay with, there has to be more there than just great sex.

For my friends and I, The List goes more along the lines of:

Similar interests
Easy going
Personal Drive
Responsibility
Humour

If a person had enough drive and responsibility, even if you may not be richy rich, you still tend to be okay financially.

On the other hand, not having similar interest or at least be willing to develop similar interests, it’s hard to stay together long term, since you end up spending your leisure time apart.

What I've seen is:

Confidence (not egotism)
Approachability
Friendliness
Sense of Humor

That at least establishes initial interest.

From there, it's about being interesting to the woman, and this is dependent on what the woman finds interesting, and sense of humor.

I've seen confident, friendly fuglies get hot women time and time again.

Never underestimate the value of looking a woman in the eye and smiling. I don't think I've ever had to approach a woman. I see nice guys all the time that stay single because they lack confidence. Breaks my heart.

Note: Fluoroantimonic acid does not get hot chicks.

Guys are easy. If you want a hookup, just 1) be hot, 2) tell him to take you home. If you want a decent relationship, you must first decide if they are a confident type or not. If not, ask them out. If they are, they will need the chase. Engage them, and be interesting without seeming interested. Don't drop hints. Don't jump on it when they do ask you out. Make them work for it, and they are yours. I'm a huge sucker for this.

Yeah I don't see why a person would want their time wasted like that Ara. It makes no sense to me. If person X wants a relationship with person Y and person Y wants a relationship with person X to prolong this exchange of information and obtain confirmation is pointless.

It does, but not by itself. The missing piece is - you (both men and women) have to provide an aura of attractive challenge. There are several was to do this, the most common is by the use of something non-threateningly competitive, like conversational banter (the "line" one uses to break the ice when approaching someone of the opposite sex).

That sets up an opportunity to display confidence, etc.
