This bugged me half a decade ago, and it still bugs me today. Nothing has fanned that flame until this morning though.

I really hate this need for companies to stick the letter "i" in front of many different products. Especially ones that have absolutely nothing to do with Apple or the internet. I had thought that trend had started to die down, but then I was behind a van this morning, plastered and promoting proudly it's company name:

iPlumbing INC. Spelled with lowercase i, capital P.

I thought maybe, just maybe, it's a service that repairs broken iOS devices. Nope. It's a traditional plumbing for houses service.

Come on, guys. Seriously?

No, they repair the series of tubes that make up the internet.

because it works? Let's face it 'Buck, you're in the minority on this one most people will either:

1. Not care (with neutral effect on their market share.)
2. Immediately assume the business/product in question is trendy and "with it" and go shop there (a positive effect on their market share)

People need to drink some iSportsdrinks, and get some iSleep in their iBeds to deal with that. I always feel a little iFatigued after I mow the iLawn or go for an iRun or come home form iWork.
