A telemarketer with an annoying voice starts off with this phrase, leaves a message on my box once or twice a week. I've begun to dread the blinking light.

You sure putting a bounty on someone's head is llegal?

Who cares. Pick up your phone, give me a call. Dirty deeds, done dirt cheap. I will even give you the friend discount.

You have not signed up for the Do Not Call Registry?

reminds me of the ringtone going around a couple of years back called "is your turban dirty".

There is a special level of hell reserved for me.

Am I the only one that was disappointed to find out what this thread was really about?

Odd, pre-recorded or not, you should still be able to report them for violation, I would think.

I would recommend you file a complaint with the Do Not Call registry. According to their site, if you receive prerecorded calls, you can file complaints even if your number is not registered. You need to know the number that called you, and the time and date of the call.
