Any tips on getting over it? Just spent 21 hours on flights (+10 in airports) and can't seem to get my land legs back. I've got a day of downtime due to high seas limiting my activities and want to get settled down before Friday.

What's the time difference?

I think preventative measures are the most effective, like slowly adjusting your sleep schedule some before your trip. And then trying to sleep on the plane if you can. And resist the temptation to fall asleep at like 2 PM when you arrive at your destination.

But in any case, since you're already beyond that point... I've heard you can use a combination of melatonin and controlling the lighting in your environment to reset your circadian rhythm and get over jet lag. No idea if it works or how to do it, but try looking it up and see what you think.

I went +1 hour -8 hours +1 hour for a total of -6?

My problem isn't sleep schedule it is that feeling of still being on a jet 3 days after I disembarked. Like when you spend the day riding roller coasters and all that night you continue to feel the up and down motion?

they generally suggest it takes 1 day of recovery for each 1 hour of displacement.

I think melatonin can help with that.

After you get where you're going, take off your shoes and your socks then walk around on the rug bare foot and make fists with your toes.

Just remember to put your shoes back on when the terrorists arrive.

If one of them is Alan Rickman, get his autograph before you shoot him, though.
