Why is it so hard for these idiots to code to ww3 standards. I don't want to use IE. PS if you're going to force me to use your **** broken browser, at least make sure I can use the latest version that MS has forced me to download kthnxbai. |

Not for long hopefully, MS is stopping IE8 support in July. As a web developer I generally have no problem with IE9+ |

that's all irrelevant as most of the apps/sites I use for work require IE while simultaneously somehow not being compatible with 11 or whatever version has been pushed out to me against my will. |

Yeah, but never having used it before, I didn't know that.  At any rate, we're getting IE11 next year. And can't use Chrome with the validated/regulated systems. So I'm still stuck with IE8 for a while, at least part time. |
