Not believing in an afterlife, no, the alternative is not better. I used to, and still do for the most part, approach them as just another day, but people (my wife and family) like to make a big deal out of them. I can take them or leave them, have gotten through most of my major milestones, at this point. Maybe I can retire by the next one. |

I got more birthday wishes from the Glade than anywhere else. If it wasn't for my wife and son it would have passed uneventfully. |

I know so much more about myself, and the world around me than I did last year at the same time. |
