This is the Rants forum, and it can be nice to get stuff off your chest. However, always keep in mind that this is a public forum on the internet. Once something appears on the internet, it stays there forever. Even if we delete the thread later, some spider script has almost certainly crawled through and cached everything in the forum. Your thread is probably sitting in some search engine database for all eternity. So please keep that in mind when posting, and don't post anything you may regret later. |

I haven't posted anything I regret, but I've received some requests asking to delete threads. So I felt that it'd be better if people thought before posting personal information, instead of reacting afterwards. |

Ahh yeah, but then if people think before they speak, it destroys one of the awesome effects anonymity has on people: honesty. If this thread in effect is telling people that mods will no longer delete these types of posts, then I totally support what you are saying, lol. |
