Ok, I am sitting here, eating a peanut butter and jelly, and crying to "I wish I was a punk rocker with flowers in my hair" because it just seems so touching....crying with a mouthful of peanut butter? When did I turn into a sobbing fat chick??
What the hell.

Fat chicks cry with mouth-fulls of cake batter, not peanut butter.

Cake batter makes me nauseous.
What else ya got? :P

Based on the pics you've posted, the last thing I would call you is fat.

True.
There must be another term then for someone who listens to Indie music and sobs into their sammich....

Eh, I don't think it's all that odd unless it's an all the time thing.

There are several songs out there that have caught me at the right time and brought tears to my eyes. And I'm usually pretty stoic.

Whew! *hugs* Glad to know I didn't invent the crying-in-the-sammich thing!
(Although, I may grab my guitar and go write a country song about it... )

Hope you feel better soon too.

Because you haven't been talking to us as much lately. Someone has to make you laugh, Kirra.

Are you suggesting that laughter is the cure for crying in one's sammich? Kirra, listen to the ninja, he may be onto something here.

Have you talked to your GP about it? You've been through a lot, and you're likely under a lot of stress. Funny thing about stress, it can build up so slow that you don't even realize there's a problem until it's just overwhelming to the point where you cannot deal with it, and are paralyzed by it to the point of inaction. Are you sleeping well? I don't mean getting 7 or 8 hours, but are you actually waking up feeling rested (after mandatory getting-up-groggyness), or are you worn out still?

I know for a fact that I have some serious issues right now, and up until my unplanned visit to the ER and a night in the hospital, I wasn't giving myself the attention I needed. I literally had days where I felt like I was on the verge of tears from the moment I woke up, exhausted, until I went to bed, and slept like crap.

Everyone feels emotions, good, bad, indifferent, but if it's becoming something regular, please, take action. Talk to your doctor, and if they treat you like **** find a new one who isn't an idiot.

Don't want you to repeat my experience. Spending the night in the ER terrified that you've let things go to a point where it's damaging organs is not a good place to be. Wish I had an answer for you, but, well, I'm a mess myself :)

Funny you should mention that, I actually do have a doctor's appointment tomorrow...I'll be sure to bring it up, although I'm really hoping he'll just chalk it up to hormones. :)

Only if he's an idiot. If he does that, in light of all the recent upheaval, find another doctor quick.

Dye your hair black, adopt the tight clothes, drama, and queen ***** attitude, and its called Emo.

LK, you are cute, married to a good guy, loved by your family, and all that good stuff. Lady punk rockers tend to be angry ladies, not sad, well not until they wake up and see who they grabbed at closing time anyway. Do you really want that life?

You can read romance into anything you like, it but it usually isn't there. The other players haven't read the script you're writing and don't care about your wants and need (too busy whining about their imagined problems.)

Find a sitter, dress Nitefox up, and take the long drive to Memphis and dance your *** off somewhere no one knows either one of you. While you're at it, go eat the hottest Indian dinner you can find, Memphis has a lot of Indian restaurants. Nitefox can order Rogan Josh mild (lamb). Pictures please, you and Nitefox in your indie punk rocker outfits and horrid makeup. Remember, no sharing make-up, Nitefox gets his own eyeliner.

Don't hate me Nitefox, just go along with it.

Most of the guys on the board are at least part geek. When a geek girl with wit, charm, and willingness to prove she is a real girl starts to talk with us we pay attention, even stare at our monitors in disbelief.

When they turn out to be weird too, that is a bonus.
