My best friend died today. She was a dog. A dog I've known since she was 3 weeks old. A dog that has slept right next to my bed for the past 13 years. She was always there when I went to sleep and she was always there when I woke. She would wake me up in the middle of the night licking my arm or licking the bed(I know, wtf?). She was my English bulldog Tricks. She was positively ancient, but she acted like a pup most of the time. I knew this was coming. She was 13 years old. Bulldogs normally don't last past 10 if they are lucky. She had many children and even grandchildren die of natural causes before she did. I am a much better person to have known her. She was always there when I needed her to cheer me up and I will miss her dearly. I'm not sure how I'm gonna fall asleep without here there. I don't know how I'm going to wake up knowing she won't be there.

I am going to miss you so much, Tricks.

I'm sorry to hear you lost your best friend Tricks, Raltar. It's sounds like you gave Tricks a great home.

Maybe some time in the future you could grace us with some cute pics of Tricks? =)
