Been coughing for weeks, since lethargy about a month ago. cough never went away. This morning, severe enough coughing fit to cause vomit. This afternoon, wake up with a swollen uvula that's dangling inside my mouth. nearly throw up, get dragged to the clinic and turned into a pincushion. Not allowed to be out of sightline for longer than 5 minutes. today sucks. |

Oh, sorry... Dad put me on a course of Prednisone, finishes tomorrow. The coughing still hangs out here, but greatly diminished (occasional individual coughs instead of coughing fits every 5-10 minutes that can inspire near-vomit), but I haven't had another incident involving the uvula. My current unprofessional suspicion is an allergic reaction to the Claritin I was given to attempt to control the cough the morning before. |
