Vince was a bad-ass old school Navy vet that enjoyed beers and fishing. We weren't blood-related, his daughter married my Uncle. Even so, he was still a pretty prominent figure as he had always been pretty close geographically and he loved to BBQ.

He was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year. He had a surgery to try to fix as much as possible, but it didn't end up adding much to his life. He'd been in bed at home for the last couple months hooked up to morphine, going in and out.

He's survived by his wife Su, who he married in Japan during one of his tours, as well as his four children.
