I am supposed to be off on Friday night/Saturday morning at 3am... my relief is a rotating schedule (that is posted and scheduled out for 3 months at a time) that goes between each employee in the group I work with...

There is nothing more **** lovely than when someone is supposed to report in for duty and there is no contact with the person at all, after multiple attempts to reach them and no numbers for contact other than the cell phone I have tried 4 times in a 40 minute period.

The group I work in consists of two seperate groupings of people, Tier 2 and Tier 3. And without fail it always happens that the Tier 2 group drops the ball on this. I do not consider Mus to be part of this group because he gets the precarious honor of working both groups. And he does not drop the ball in this fashion.

I just LOVE when I get to be the person who gets **** into working extra time because some **** douchebag cannot be bothered to figure out that they just need to look on the **** schedule (posted for 3 months at a time, and on a god damned white board in the office area we are in).

Used to be that was a good way to get fired, not showing up for your shift and no contact. Only excuse was your or a close family member's death or dismemberment, obituary, medical record, or police report required.

Then again, I worked for private industry back then.

JB, which is VERY uncharacteristic of him. He is normally 15-30 minutes early. He was; however, very apologetic and all is cool now. J.S. covered from 03:45 until JB got in. JB sent me an email apologizing about spacing the shift.
