Achy joints and lower back, to the point where I'm almost in tears. (That much pain + 2-hr commute = the suck!)

Sore throat from hell.

Headache.

No energy.

Just kill me now.

I feel your pain. I've had exactly the same symptoms since Sunday. Missed two days of work, but have to go back tomorrow, regardless. It's going to SUCK!

Ugh that sucks, Serienya! I hope you feel better very soon. :(
Have you tried a heating pad on your lower back while you drive?

EDIT: You too Midge! Hope your day back at work isn't too terrible...try not to overdo it.

Haven't been in that much pain while driving before, so no. :)

I basically had to load up on Advil + Tylenol to make it manageable. (Either one alone did nothing.)

Well, ****.

I stayed home from work yesterday, and then worked 12 hours anyway. Only went in today to do my review, and the boss didn't show because she was busy with inspectors.

Sore throat was just getting worse, but the fever and joint pain was getting better. Aaannnd today, there's this lovely white exudate all over my tonsils.

Gorram strep throat! Doc phoned in a scrip for antibiotics, thankfully.

And, my bf happens to be paranoid about that (he gets it really badly - dropped 15 lbs from not being able to eat last time), so I can't go there. Just ONCE, it would be nice to have someone take care of me when I'm sick. :(

*grumble grumble grumble*

Aw man I hate that for you. :( Sorry you don't have anyone to take care of you when you are ill. Hope you feel better soon and that your bf doesn't get sick....you know you'll be taking care of him if he does...thats the way it goes...men...bah! ;)
Antibiotics should kick in soon hopefully.

He had muscle soreness and tiredness, so stayed home from work yesterday. I ended up taking him dinner. So either he was exposed over the weekend like I was, or he had something else with some of the same initial symptoms. So I potentially exposed him last night.

My daughter sees a dr. tomorrow due to a sore throat today (I warned the ex to watch for symptoms as soon as I figured it out).

And holy crap! You can see my swollen lymph nodes from across the room!

And ****... my daughter has strep too. Thankfully caught earlier.

Oh hey, my tonsils are touching! They were normal yesterday morning.
