So, I went to see a back doctor, and was finally prescribed therapy. Great, got an appointment for just over a month from the original appointment to start my therapy.

So I've been dealing with the injury for a month.

Come to find out, my prescription's only good for 30 days. So I called my doctor and asked for it to be updated - she wants to reexamine me. She has an appointment available in just under 30 days.

Want. To. Kill. (I would, but I'd probably throw my back out.)

Ask to speak to the nurse or the doctor and explain the situation. Suspect you got a 'front desk' person.
