I.. cannot write. I am almost done with this short story for Sci-Fi Fantasy Lit, and.. I am having a sudden, severe decline in my confidence in this work. It is crap. And it will not improve significantly in the week or two I have to finish it. But I have to finish it because I can't suddenly redirect all of the effort to something else. But it's crap. But.. |

So you don't get a Hugo for this story, so what. This is q story for your class. You will receive needed review and hopefully constructive criticism. Just do it, turn it in, and learn something from the experience. Besides, if you think yours seems bad, wait until you see some of the others. |

Also, handed in a C paper (in Comp 2) two weeks back; the teacher called me on the strawmanning that I didn't notice and said maybe I picked a bad topic, but gave me an A for being entertaining and mechanically competent. |

Handed in the (first draft of the) story Thursday morning, slept through class with her permission; just waiting for Tuesday and the presentation. Need to do that rewrite and maybe some revisions tomorrow afternoon while I'm recovering, but I've got ideas. |

Full points on SFFL project and presentation, and I thought my presentation flopped so hard because I chose a bad segment. Tanked Nutrition final, but got an A by the skin of my teeth. low 90s on the Calc final, but firm A territory. Waiting only on Comp and Biology finals. I'm fairly sure I tanked Biology, and I really want to retake the course. Comp.. It would take a massive flop (like "I'm not accepting this, you emailed it at 9:02") to knock me down below an A. |

Comp is an A, Biology I didn't do as badly as I thought. GPA is a 3.74. Needs to improve. |
