So the job thing is apparently not bad enough;

We received a letter in the mail today notifying us that our house is up for short sale.

So I get that the house was not in foreclosure when we initially looked at it and asked....

But then about a month and a half ago: when we straight out asked if this was about to be an issue, we were told no... everything is fine, it was a solicitation attempt by this mortgage company...

Now this. I am trying to stay cool, I am trying to be mellow right now. But something very deep in my reptilian brain wants to explode in unthinking rage and strike out at those who appear to be trying to do me harm.
