-31 when I went out the door this morning. Does it matter if it's C or F at that point? They're both **** frigid. I hate winter. |

Since -40 is the same in either, it doesn't really matter |

Damn right, I'm proud to be a negative temperature wimp! |

Negative temperatures are just a good excuse for hot chocolate. I mean, seriously, you don't sip hot chocolate while sunning yourself on the beach, no matter what the calendar says. Thus, I hold that anything that promotes the production and consumption of something as delicious as hot chocolate (or mulled cider!) cannot be evil. |

And yet so many of you choose to live and work where negative temperatures happen annually, sometimes for weeks at a time. Just sayin' |

It's 'cause I prefer negative temperatures to sweltering and/or humid heat. |

Kaffis Mark V wrote: It's 'cause I prefer negative temperatures to sweltering and/or humid heat. Tell me about it. This winter is the first winter ever that I've had sub 0(or damn near it) temperatures. But I tell you it is way better than the bullshit 100+ degree 80% humidity of where I used to live. |

Some people like seasons that have extreme temperature swings. Some don't. Me? I'm enjoying the storm that's dropped temps around here to the high 60s from the mid 70s EDIT: whoops, its gonna get colder than I thought. Have 3 days this week with highs in the low 50s and high 40s....but then it's back to 60s |

Another thing that sucked about California is that 9 out of 12 months a year were hot as **** and the other 3 were cold. What kind of bull **** is that? Late November is still swimming weather. |

I know what you mean Taly. I was walking out to my car after work today and it was 57F. It made me wish I had brought a jacket. I was really quite chilly. |

I hate being cold. I've been cold more times than I care to remember, all too often where warming up was not going to happen for quite some time. Heat is much better, especially low humidity heat. Heat makes you slow down and feel tired and parched, but cold hurts. When you're cold it's painful, and it makes you wonder if you'll ever be warm again. |

Elessar...I'm glad it was cold for that pic...but, all you have to do is put some pontoons on the plane and it would work quite well landing in the blue waters of the carribean |

I think his bosses would object to him borrowing it for a trip down to Jamaica. How tough is it landing it on a lake anyway Ellesar? |

Professor: The Sun's temperature at the core is about 6.5 million °Celsius Student: Shouldn't that be in Kelvin? *facepalms* |
