So 2 nights ago I wasn't sure if I took my medicine, so I was scared of overdosing and didn't.
Last night, same thing. (I know, I'm really dumb)

Anyways right now I'm feeling really dizzy and nauseated and my jaw is slightly clenched. It's awful. I can't focus on work at all. I hope I don't get hospitalized.

Get one of the weekly trays for meds with al the days having separate compartments. Keep your pills in there and try to take them routinely on the day they are stored in. Then you can just check the tray to see if you have taken your meds yet that day. Most pharmacies carry them.

As for what you can do right now, get back on schedule taking your meds.

Thanks, that's a great suggestion.

It doesn't seem like it'd be that hard to just take the same meds every day consistently, but it actually is. It's not like brushing your teeth because you don't have the taste in your mouth, and you can always brush again if you're not sure.

I know and agree; that is why I have one.

This is the only way to do it. I bought a case of them for my office and handed them out.

We actually have a pharmacy in Rhode Island whos only business is done by pre-picking, and packaging weekly med trays, and delivering them to hospitals, nursing homes, and private citizens.

White Cross Pharmacy. You may be interested in looking into them, and seeing if they can be of some help to you in Mass.

I agree totally. It becomes 'automatic' and you can't remember doing it, so if something disturbs your routine you're screwed. There's a reason birth control pills come in a nifty blisterpack, I'm surprised more meds don't.

Hope you are ok Lex. That happens to me too...a lot. But I just go ahead and take it again to be sure then wind up with not enough meds at the end of the month.
I bought a nifty little pill thing the other day. Time to put it to use I suppose.

i struggle to remember, and sometimes go weeks without taking a vitamin...i could only imagine what a major pain it would be if I had to take medicine at a regular interval, I'd be forgetting all the time.

Thanks. I feel better, a few hours after taking my meds it all went away. With my meds overdose is probably worse than withdrawal, although I've never been through it. I just started using the 7 day thing and it seems like a good system.

It sounds really dumb, but I can imagine this being very easy to do. Especially if there's an overdose concern.

Even with the daily tray, it is still easy to forget your meds (sheepish look) but at least then when you look at it, you can easily correct the issue.
