I've been watching Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood every week for the past god knows how many weeks. It's totally awesome. But it kind of annoys the **** out of me that they put major spoilers in the opening and closing sequences. I mean, it's not something totally unexpected, but it still hasn't been confirmed yet in the actual story. It just seems kind of stupid. It's not even the "Next time on Full Metal Alchemist!" It's just one of those fancy opening credits that shows a bunch of awesomness, only it gives away a future plot point. Damn you Japanese bastards!

Great show, I never watch the next episode teasers so I guess I never noticed that problem.

He's not talking about the teasers Hop, he's talking about the introduction.

I usually enjoy the minor spoilers, but that's usually because I read the manga first and I'm just waiting to see the story animated.

What do you mean the intro? I watched this a few weeks back and don't recall any intros. It was credits followed by episode?

Every anime I have watched has had a 1 minute 30 second introduction animation with a theme song at the beginning of every show. This animation changes, usually every season (26 eps) and occasionally features spoiler images from the episodes upcoming during the season it will run in.

You mean the credits? All of the stuff from FMA seemed to be animated shorts from the manga that didn't make it into the show.

The opening theme sequence shows (at this time in the actual story) a character I was not sure was going to go the way he went, but the opening theme shows him fighting certain other characters that kinda removes the doubt I had about him. It was pretty god damned annoying(even though I had hoped it was going to go the way it went). I realize that these sequences won't actually happen in the actual show and they are just for excitment, but they still reveal who is on who's side and what's generally happening(why else would they do it at all? Just to lie to people?).

Episode 26+ spoilers

Spoiler:
It was Ling, who has been turned into Greed. At this point, I wasn't sure he was going to come back to Ed's side. The fact that he hasn't been seen for like, 10 episodes doesn't help either. But it shows him fighting Wrath and Envy which kinda tells me that he is going to regain control at some point ruining that future plotline. Because in the previous opening theme animation(FMA:B seems to have a new one every 12 episodes or so) it shows Greed with the rest of the Homoculi(technincally before he becomes one because he doesn't become one until that episode where they changed the opening animation, but it's kinda hard to tell that it is actually Ling).

Also, Ed and Al and the gang have teamed up with Scar for the time being and they have also got a few chimeras on their team as well. Now, before I even knew they were chimeras, the end credits shows all of the badguys really quickly, then it shows the good guys jumping up in the air starting with Ed and Al and it goes down the line of the rest of the good guys...then it shows the chimeras that are still considered bad for a few more episodes with the good guys meaning "hey, they will become semi major characters on Ed and Al's side! Thanks for ruining that!".
