Post subject:  Dear Pedestrians,

Its called a Multi-Use Path for a reason. Its also 8 feet wide. Please don't walk down the center and not move when you see me on my bike coming towards you. Actually, please just don't walk down the center as I may be coming up behind you. I don't mind slowing down and going around you, but when you're weaving like a drunken sloth on xanax, it makes it rather more difficult than it needs to me.

If I call out behind you "On your right!" (Or left as the case may be) Please don't immediately step in this direction and look to your left (or right as the case may be). I'm alerting your oblivious *** to my impending presence so I don't smack into you with 300 pounds of bike and rider. Seriously, pay attention to your surroundings.

If you're walking your dog on one of those retractable leads, please don't stand on one side of the path while your dog is on the other. If you do do this, please don't look at me as I approach from a good 40feet or so away and do absolutely nothing. I really would rather not hit your dog. Or hit the leash and hurt you, your dog, and myself.

Look, people, its just common sense and courtesy. If I'm walking in a park, and I see a cyclist, I step to the side of the path that he's not on. Its not really that hard.

Always pass on the left. Never say "on your right". Just ring your gay little bell and pass on the left.

Post subject:  Re: Dear Pedestrians,

I'll take it a step further. Quit being so damned **** lazy and use a crosswalk, especually if I see one just 25 yards away from you, you lazy mother ****! If there is absolutely no traffic, then fine. I'll let you do your little illegal maneuver.

I swear to GOD I will back whatever bill that ever comes into question that states "It is not illegal to hit a pedestrian who is jaywalking, and the driver will not be at fault for the jaywalker's complete and total stupidity."

It really depends on what side of the path they're walking on. I try to pass left, but sometimes they're walking diagonally from right to left in a sort of clueless meandery way.

I need to get a gay little Airzound. ;)

Except if you're riding a bike in Canada, Australia or any other country which drive on the correct side of the road

Move to Australia, there are precedents set where they will also have to pay for the damage to your car… if they survive.

Well, yeah - they'll move, but then you need to ride through the puddle of piss they left behind.

I don't remember doing so when I visited a couple of years ago, but I use offensively defensive driving techniques so they might have been humoring me.
