Please Mother Nature, we have had enough rain. You can stop anytime now. |

I'm enjoying the nice 67 degree highs. I don't mind the drizzle it comes with. |

New Orleans weather is perfect right now... After 4 straight days (and 20 inches) of rain, we've had sunny days, low 60s to high 80s all of this week. Yay first cold front of the year! |

I've never been a hoodie person. I'll take some drizzle on my thick head of hair, and rock my leather jacket, instead. |

We've had all of about 3 days of rain here since I arrived in May, and maybe another 3 or 4 with a momentary drizzle. This week is the first time the daily high is consistently below 100 in a month, and I'm not sweating just going into the garage and getting in my truck to go to work. |

Historic flooding. Serious problems in the Susquehanna River basin and others. Small bridges and big culverts washing out all over the place. More storms in the queue. |

We had rain showers on Sunday. It was really weird - very early for this kind of thing out here. And, of course, the rain has been bracketed by a heat wave that ain't fun. 102 in the shade yesterday at our house. My sympathies, though, on the rain. |

I've got cracks in the earth in what used to be my yard and is now a desert wastland. I'll be putting in an irrigation system next year. |

Send it to Texas, they desperately need that. I think that entire state is burning... |

57 and grey skies and rain, on and off, all day here in the lovely green state of Michigan. I just dislike the grey skies all the time. Fall is my absolute fav time of the year though. And..it was good sleeping weather today finally got more than an hour here and there. I maybe won't be so cranky tonight |

Sarmaran wrote: Foamy is right. We're getting a little squishy here in Philapa. Totally! It took me 2 1/2 hours to get to work, as my entire commute was just going from area of flooding to area of impending flooding. Got to work, stayed a few hours, took my computer & came home. I'm finishing the day out here rather than risking getting stranded somewhere. Thankfully, the water had receded quite a bit between the morning and 2 pm. A friend works in the Trenton, NJ area. She said an egret has decided to move into their parking lot: "When wading marshland birds are scoping out your car, that's a bad sign." |

Kirra wrote: Fall is my absolute fav time of the year though. Totally agree. Give me turning leaves, crisp, dry mornings, and lovely jacket weather. The reason God didn't make anyplace on the planet that has autumnal weather year-round is nobody would ever want to leave. |

Fall's one of the nice times to be in Arizona, too. But the nice weather doesn't start until late September at the earliest. Of course, most of our winter weather is fall weather for most people :p. We're expecting 3 days of rain this weekend that will drop temps to the 90's. But not too many trees change colors with the seasons down here in this part of AZ. I do miss that about Michigan sometimes. |

Trees change colors? I call Bullshit. They're green, or bare. |

92 degrees at 7:17 p.m. Nice and dry. Hoping for a delta breeze in a little while. We have people here asking for cooler weather and some of the wet stuff. They can wait, its only September and we're having a late summer, which really doesn't end for another two weeks. |

We had a summer Micheal?? Seemed more like spring or fall to me the past few months. Even the zucchini isn't producing like it usually does! |

Mildest recorded summer in Sacramento, so, what you said Jasmy. Close to 100 up here today. |
