Two screw ups! One I can understand but the exact same screw up twice?

I order an item. It shows up on time, wrong color and missing parts. Ok no biggie, someone in inventory grabbed the right box which happened to have the wrong item in it. So since Amazon couldn't send me a replacement, I got the shipping label emailed to me, I sent the item back and reordered it. Simple enough right?

#$#)(*%&#)(%#ing WRONG.

Got the new item I ordered. Correct box. Wrong #%#$#$ing color and missing the damn parts again! And to add insult to injury it was obviously used when I paid considerably more for NEW. So again I contact Amazon. Apparently I got their english is not an option department cause the person I was talking to sounded like he had a family size bag of #%$#$ in his mouth. After politely asking him to repeat himself four times I finally hung up and had another call scheduled. Again with the return label, but I'm damn well not giving them a third chance to mess up.

It sucks because I usually have zero issues with them, and even went the more expensive route to buy from a seller with considerable positive feedback. Now I'm without the item I needed and the clock is ticking. #)$(*#$ these guys, I'm going home.

Was it Amazon or one of those stores who sell through Amazon?

I'm thinking it's more that the vendor/manufacturer providing the product to Amazon screwed up their fulfillment.

There are very few things I don't buy from Amazon. Sorry you had a bad experience, but like you said, you bought from a third party vendor. Not exactly Amazon who is to blame.

Nope, sold and shipped by Amazon. What really burns my biscuts is that it's the one item out of the order that I got just for me. It had been on my wish list for almost 2 years, and I finally decided to get it.

Then what seller rating are you referring to in your first post? Amazon.com does not have a feedback rating for itself, only other vendors. See here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/ ... dition=new

Star ratings. For the item I wanted it was 4 1/2 out of 5 with a lot of positive feedback.
