The Glade 4.0

We're required to run certain software against any user migrating to a new system to 'ensure a smooth transition' as users migrate to Win 7/updated hardware etc.

Unfortunatly some of our users have systems that are 8+ years old, that have not successfully received software updates in years, including software that our various migration tools have as dependencies.


*sigh* 3 hours clearing space, installing legacy patches, etc, to try and make a piece of software work for 20 minutes so I can use the automatic migration tool instead of just copying the flipping data by hand, from a system thats going to be wiped.
