I was shopping the other day and thought, what better wedding present to give myself than a new game. Now I haven't purchased a non-mmo game for a while and decided I wanted to try the latest heroes of might and magic... which I use to love back in the day.

So $36 later, I went home excited to buy it... installed fine but required online verification. Plotted in my verification code and bam, the code has already been used by some idiot via random generated keygen. Okay no matter, took a photo of all the necessary documents, and posted a ticket.

48 hours later, I am still unable to play the game because tech support has not bothered to get back to me!

If I would have pirated the game in the first place, I would have started playing 2 days ago... Grrrr~

I want to play my game... !!!! Next time, I will either steam it, or just pirate... buying from a store is way too last season. I really should know better *sigh* :psyduck:

That sucks! I didn't realize stuff like that happened...makes me think twice about pirating a game...imagine some kid saving up their allowance and getting a game only to find out some adult somewhere had already used their code.
Or, yanno, some awesome chick who bought herself an early wedding present....;)

Buy it, then download a pirated copy of the game anyway. Not only do they skip verification, they usually skip intro cinematics and other stupid **** I don't want, too. That's what I do with all my purchases.

I was feeling nostalgic... like the good old days... going into a gaming store and flirting with the clerk for an awesome discount... The game was $89.99.

I wanted a box... something I could hold in my hand... but ya... it sux >.<

72 hours and counting *sniffles*

If they don't get it to me by tonight, I already have the hack and keygen downloaded ready to go

The thrill of swashbuckling on the high seas, plunder and havin' me fill of women and ale drives me to piracy.
