The owner of the silver Tundra is a vendor who works at our facility as part of a network hardware validation/bake-off. It's not a one time visit. He's a dedicated resource to this project, and has been working at our site on behalf of this vendor for several years.

The owner of the orange Honda (me) is the Principle Engineer responsible for executing the validation testing, documenting the results, and making recommendations.

All four of the spaces in this row are reserved for employees, with company window stickers. Vendors have their own own designated stalls down the row a ways.

It's hard to tell from the photo, but his right rear tire is completely on the other side of the yellow line. He's not even supposed to be parking in this part of the lot.

The orange Honda was the first car parked in this row that morning (yesterday). It's intentionally parked to the right side of the stall because the stall to the right is a 'Motorcycle Only' stall (yes, the beige Camry is also parked in a stall it should not be in). By parking to the right side of the stall (as a courtesy), it leaves a little extra space for the two cars to the left (these are pretty small parking stalls), and still leaves a plenty of room for Motorcycles to park there (in defense of the Camry driver, none of the employees at this facility ride motorcycles to work... but, they are still in jeopardy of getting a ticket!).

The orange Honda was parked at about 8AM. The Tundra was the next vehicle parked there, sometime between 8:10AM and 8:20AM. The other stalls were still empty at that time, and all of the designated Vendor stalls, 50' further down, were available as well (most of the vendors don't start showing up until 9AM or so). The Silver Honda CRV, which parked at about 8:20 is owned by a team member, who reported this to me when he came in ("Hey, have you see your car"?)

I then went on a search of the building looking for the guy, and he was no where to be found. He wasn't in the building, anywhere (we have security cameras covering the entire facility). I talked to the front desk security people, and asked them to let me know when he arrives.

I left at about 6pm, and the truck was still there, and the guy was no where to be seen. It was gone when I came in this morning.

I had something like this happen to me one night. There was some bigass truck parked next to me, over on my side of the line leaving about 4 inches of space between our doors. I notice there was a truck parked next to him halfway over into his space leaving about half an inch of clearance, so it appears I had an avenging angel show up to make an ******* sandwich.

I popped open my passenger's side door, got a few things, wrote down the ****'s license plate in case he dented my $500 car backing out of the lot, and walked back to the lab.

This is a private lot, so I have no authority to have his car towed, even if he is parked over a line.

I could have called Dimond Parking, who does the sticker enforcement, and had them come give him a $300 ticket for parking in the wrong spot, but then several other of my co-workers, whom I generally like and had no beef with, would have probably also received tickets.

Call his boss, grumble about changing companies. His attitude will improve.

If you know who it is tell him: "Nice parking!" He will get the hint.

Oh, we had a nice chat...

It started off with me saying something like ...

"Welcome to Planet Earth... I take it you're new here?"

He started off by trying to claim the person to the left had parked too far right.. but I explained to him that the individual in that vehicle was a co-worker, and is the one who told me about your asninery...

He just grumbled and didn't really say much. I have pictures similar to the one above, and everyone else in the building was giving him a hard time about it.

I doubt we'll see him parking in employee spots again, because he's brought so much attention to himself with this.

I think my boss, who has a good working relationship with this guys boss, had a nice chat with him.

I don't think there was any malicious intent.. He knows me well enough to know that he would regret any intentional asininery... I think he just wasn't paying attention and was in a rush... Like I said.. "Welcome to Planet Earth you inconsiderate *******!"

Full parking lot at gas station, guy parked ~15% in open space, and 85% illegally. (My assumption is that a vehicle was occupying this space, far to the left, when he parked, and they since left.) To the left of the empty space, a vehicle is parked normally. I'm in a beater truck. I park in empty space, less than an inch from his vehicle. At this time I notice his vehicle is full of crap, except the actual driver seat.

I do my business, and go to redbox near the cars and look for movies. This guy comes out hot, can't get in his car, starts screaming at me to move my car. I declined. I didn't move it for a good ten minutes, until I was done.
