Gah! Every damn forum I go on: this one, two gaming forums, a store forum, a gun/shooter forum, and the odd linked forum I end up at from one of the prior listed..... some **** says something like, "Careful, or you might loose your shirt." Or "I hate playing this game, I always loose." Or any one of a dozen other ways to appear **** stupid.

LOSE

L-O-S-E.

Well, but these can have convoluted meanings at times, easily mistakeable. Lose/loose are not in any way similar in meaning.

The incorrect use of "then" and "than" stirs similar feelings in me.
