Ten years ago yesterday my wife passed away.
As one of our other dearly departed friends once said, emotions are weird, it has been a rough day. I'm kind of glad it was a national holiday where I didn't have to go to work.
While I spent the day fairly morose, I got through it totally sober, didn't do anything stupid, and had dinner with my daughter and some of our mutual friends.
With Ice Tea, we toasted those dearly departed for each of us and enjoyed the company of those still here.
Those of you who were here back then, thank you for all the kind and sympathetic words. They really helped.
I still love her and always will.
Micheal
