The Glade 4.0

Browsed EBay for a second pocket cam for my wife. Saw a used one that had only 3 hours left and was in single digits. I bid on it. She came into the room, and I was outbid, so I hit $4.50.......I swear I did. Only.........it put in $450.00 and started auto bidding for me. And I didn't see this until a while later when I came back to check out the progress after cooking supper.

Yikes! WTF?!?! So, I sat there feeling sick, watching the countdown and hoping like hell. It went to 46 bucks and finally stopped.

Side note, after someone on the forums pointed it out to me, the off bidder's history was a bid "odd", as 96% of their bids was to this particular seller, and they had made dozens of bids today alone. Which tells me either this is really a rare coinkydink, or this is a person working for the same seller bumping bids.

At any rate, I didn't want to pay 46 bucks for a used cam, but I am thankful as **** it wasn't worse. $450 bucks for a cam that is at most worth $60, would have made me sick (and broke, and in the dog house big time) ****, I am done with Ebaying for a good long bit. I don't have any needs, and I damn sure ain't playing around on "deals" anytime soon.

eBay is notoriously easy to get your money back from.
