Ahhh!!

Just reminds when I was stationed down in Tampa, there was this Tech Sgt that was from Wisconsin and she had the stereotypical accent of someone from that region. Sweet gal but she drove me crazy when she talked.

I'm glad someone else mentioned this one. The worst by far in my opinion.

Katas is from Wisconsin, but he does not have the strong accent. Several years in California seem to have mellowed it out.

The accent that Nitefox is describing is from the Iron Range. You'll occasionally hear it in the southern half of either Minnesota or Wisconsin, but it's most common the northern 1/3 of each state.

Another really annoying one is the faux-British accent that so many fat hairy members of the RPG community seem to develop, the better to lecture everyone else on why they're having wrongbadfun.

You guys really need to experience California. Any accent you like or don't you can find here.

42 degrees at 9:25 a.m., supposed to get up to 60 today, warming trend this week, and I'm in the northern half of the state.

Not bad for January.

Nope, we'll get some more winter, its only January, storms are usually worst in February, here anyway. March a little soggy, April glorious and may tries to trick us back into our winter gear for a few days, usually.

This year, who knows.
