Personally, I think we're toast. and the way things are going, I'm ok with that. Give the socialists everything they want, and just stand back and watch. Preferably from "somewhere" else.

Ok, had to do a doubletake for a second...I thought DFK! was agreeing with Janet Napolitano, and I was going to rush out and buy large quantities of ammo and canned goods after I had recovered from my shock...

If by "got rid of her" you mean: put her in charge of DHS, or "foistered her on the nation, lessening our local burden."

At least at DHS, I only have to hear stupid crap from her once in a while. I shudder at the thought of what things would have been like here in AZ if she had remained as governor.

Like Hillary Clinton, I view the move from an elected position to one appointed by the President as a net reduction in her importance. Nwither has an independant power base any longer.
