Interesting how a country with a 240% debt/GDP ratio can announce another huge round of additional borrowing plus money-printing.....and they're still bordering on deflation with an appreciating currency.

Japan doesn't hold the greatest current accounts trade deficit in the world. The United States does. This results from having a real structure to their economy, not a service sector illusion supported by exportation of inflation.

Japan has an appreciable amount of private savings. The United States does not.

The yen is not the reserve currency of the world in which basically all assets are denominated in. The United States Dollar is, and we're inflating the **** out of it. Much like not having the be the fastest person to avoid being eaten by the zombies only faster than fat Sally, they only have to inflate their monetary base slower than we do, which is pretty much impossible not to do. So of course they'll still experience price deflation with this stimulus package.

Interesting how Japan's real-estate market is still in double digit value decline near 20 years after their real-estate collapse despite rising demand, too. It would behoove you to understand a thing or two about economics, localized economies, and the various pressure facing state level normalization attempts all over the planet before thinking this could work in the United States.

After-all, your golden boy has Weimarred our economy in glorious fashion.

Well, if it's true what they say about disasters spurring the economy through rebuilding ( ), then this may be their giant stimulus:
