These people should not be making laws.

The white house will release a photo of her skeet shooting with Obama to cover it. Markell in Delaware has a similar problem except his was for gun registration

It's going to be interesting to see what really does happen to the first person who stops a home invader with a high cap magazine after the ban.

My HD gun is one that will photograph as mostly harmless. No rails, black plastic, lasers, etc. It just happens to be in the same caliber as my evil baby killing assault murder death machine minority bayonetting child seeking fully semi automatic supercalifragistlic magazine capacity murder death kill gun.

Felony weapons charges. Asset forfeiture. Prison. Assrape.

In that order, regardless of conviction or not.

Home invader such as the police coming to enforce a law they have no authority to enforce?

Probably, but hopefully with a side of jury nullification and increased public outrage.

Jury nullification would require an uncorrupt and unbiased judge, prosecutor, and defense attorney. Probably the ultimate in unattainable combinations.

Well...does this give us any clues??

AUBURN (CBS) – A 76-year-old Auburn man is facing charges after killing a bear in his backyard.

Richard Ahlstrand told WBZ-TV he was stocking his bird feeder Friday night when a bear about seven feet tall and 300-to-400 pounds started chasing him.

That’s when he turned his shotgun on the bear.

“I didn’t have time to aim through the sights, but I aimed in the direction of the head on this thing and I pulled the trigger before it got to me. It just dropped,” he said.

Ahlstrand said he was carrying the shotgun Friday night because he thought he saw the bear in his yard Thursday.

“If that ever jumped on me, I wouldn’t even be here right know, I don’t think. I know it was going to seriously maul me,” he said.

Ahlstrand is now charged with illegally killing a bear, illegally baiting a bear, illegal possession of a firearm and failing to secure a weapon.

Authorities believed the female bear had cubs. Ahlstrand says he feels bad about that, but he believes he being unfairly labeled.

“They got me set up now like I’m some kind of murderer. And then the environmental guy told me ‘You should have called me instead of shooting it.’ What was I going to do, say ‘Mister Bear would excuse me please while I go make a phone call?’”

Police don’t believe the bear was a threat to people.

Yeah, that's the difference between Boston and Alaska.

If the dude had done that in AK, they probably would have said, Yep, bad bear. **** happens.

Although, why was he out at night loading up his "bird feeder"? Especially if he had seen a bear in the first place. Why didn't he call animal control then?

"Hey, there's a **** bear in my backyard, can you come get this **** before I have to go stock my bird feeder?"

Maybe. He needs his day in court for sure. In my opinion getting charged with a crime, especially at the point of incident is a relatively small thing. They can always be dropped later if should be.

Don't charge and then drop following the investigation. Investigate then charge. Auto-charging is dangerous and disruptive.

Wait... Why are they charging him with illegal possession of a firearm and failure to secure a firearm?

The bear stuff, I kinda get... but the gun stuff?

Are we dealing with one of these?

If it's the latter, well, **** you, coppers. It's a bear. It's around people. Therefore it's a threat. Kill it immediately.

If it's the former, well, lock him up and throw away the key.

Um, because animal rights are more important to Democrats (and Mass. is a pretty much wholly Democratic state) than human rights?
