Some reports indicate that the executions were not for the videos, but to appease Kim's wife... other sources indicate that this may be South Korean exaggeration. In any given instance, I'd automatically believe SK over NK, but lets not forget that the South Koreans are capable of sensationalism and propaganda too.

According to the reports, it was not that video. It was sex tapes, the performers actually having sex. They were also political dissidents, since they possessed bibles.
