Well the show he has clips of is one of the worst shows on television in my opinion. I've accidentally watched it before and it always makes me go for the remote ASAP to change the channel to anything else.

It still shows very clearly the anti-intellectual, anti-science bias that is insidiously creeping through society.

Conservative types don't trust science because of Jesus/Money!

Liberal types don't trust science because of Bigotry/Money!

Either way, the only reliable way of getting real truth is being thrown out the window in favor of useless ideology.

The scientific community (especially the climate change guys) don't do science any favors with their over the top gloom and doom predictions. Climate change is bad (at least once you're past the point where you've put off the next ice age for a few eons) and of course we should do stuff to mitigate our pollution, but every time they come out with some prediction like "the oceans will rise 50' by the year 2100 my eyes roll so hard they just about fall out of my head. Also, maybe stop "massaging" the data in your studies. I don't need to be tricked into to wanting to keep the planet clean...
