Woooo.

Now watching Dem's who called Bush a warmonger for starting two wars, Obama a saint for starting 4 after his nobel peace prize call Trump bad for ending 2.

a) even if I agree with the ultimate goal of getting the US out of the Middle East, (If we stop funding Israel too) this isnt an exit strategy, its more of Trump's Russian bootlicking.

To paraphrase Trevor Noah, If Trump WERE a Russian Manchurian Candidate, how would his behavior be any different?

I'm not saying I would be sad to see us end our presence in the Middle East, (As long as we stop supporting Israel as well) but we're pretty much doing everything that helps Russia right now.

I see about 4 likely scenarios
a) Trump is really beholden to Russia/Putin -- either they have massive blackmail info on him, or he really is some sort of puppet
b) Trump is actually mentally unstable, possibly early dementia. (beyond the brazen egomaniac he's always been)
c) This is more distraction. Trump's temper tantrum over the Wall didn't play nearly as well as he hoped it would. He's losing that fight, so he's making more headlines with rash moves (that even his own staff are resigning in protest over) This is just more razzle dazzle & smoke & mirrors from the biggest con-man in US Political history.
d) He's flailing about with no idea what he's doing and just hoping to draw attention away from the noose tightening around him.

In the end, those who are following the cult of personality that Trump has built up, will continue to follow him. The Republican party will continue to kiss his *** instead of actually showing an ounce of backbone. I could respect most Bush, Reagan supporters. I can no longer respect Trump supporters.

Can you explain to me the argument (with the alleged evidence) that Trump is colluding with Russia? So far all I've seen is an interview that clearly didn't go Trump's way. Policy-wise I haven't seen any actions that support this conspiracy theory.

I've linked all the valid reasoning below.

And now the student has become the master, you see but not seeing that which cannot be seen.

There is no possible exit strategy from Syria or Afghanistan. There is definitely no exit strategy that doesn't involve Russia having heavy influence in Syria. In other words, you want out of the Middle East, but you want it to not be Trump doing it. If he hadn't, you'd probably find occasion to complain about that too, that he was just "continuing Bush's war" or some ****, conveniently forgetting that Obama had 8 years to figure out an exit strategy.

If he were a Manchurian candidate, he wouldn't be withdrawing from the INF treaty (over the load objections of idiots) nor arming the Ukraine.

Also, he wouldn't be able to keep his mouth shut about it. If Trump were a Manchurin candidate, the Mueller investigation would have ended a year ago.

Oh by the way - I'm over here again, working on said withdrawal (I'm not going to discuss how so don't bother asking). You're in your **** living room. Don't get the idea your opinion is actually informed. It's not.

1) Congratulations! You seem a bit annoyed but I presume this was your choice and something you wanted to do.
2) At least someone's opinion is informed and to be honest I am relieved that there are professionals handling the withdrawal.
